Kristiina is a senior counsel based in our Helsinki office. She is head of the Banking and Finance Group in Finland.  

She specialises in banking and finance transactions, banking and finance regulation, payments, securities market issues and corporate law. Kristiina advises leading domestic and international companies on a wide range of non-contentious and contentious matters. Her clients include local and international banks, investment banks, Finnish private equity firms, foreign corporations and NASDAQ OMX Helsinki listed companies active in various sectors. She is recommended for Banking and Finance by EMEA Legal 500.

Prior to joining us in 2005, she had gained experience working as an associate in another leading law firm and as in-house counsel for a leading Finnish bank with her main focus on financing, general corporate matters and securities market issues. Kristiina re-joined us in 2012 after acquiring a banking license and working as a management board member setting up the legal and compliance functions of a newly founded bank. Among clients Kristiina is noted for her excellent client service and dedication to the matters she works on. 

Kristiina was educated at the University of Helsinki (LL.M.) and trained at the bench in Mikkeli District Court. Kristiina is also fluent in English.
