Kerstin advises domestic and international clients on all areas of Intellectual Property law with particular focus on patent litigation.
Kerstin is an associate in our Intellectual Property Law Practice Group based in Düsseldorf.
She studied law at the University of Jena from 2005 to 2011 specialising in the field of German and European Law of Economics with particular focus on Intellectual Property Law and the Law of Unfair Competition.
Remaining in this area of law Kerstin obtained a Master’s degree (LL.M.) from the University of Edinburgh in 2012.
As a legal trainee she worked at the District court in Frankfurt am Main as well as for international law firms where she gained additional experience in the area of intellectual property law, information technology and data protection law.
Kerstin was admitted to the Düsseldorf bar in February 2015 and joined us since then.
She is fluent in both German and English but also speaks French and Russian.
