As an associate in our intellectual property team in Düsseldorf, I work with our German and international clients on all aspects of IP law, focusing on patent litigation.

Since joining our firm I have gained ample experience in multi-jurisdictional patent litigation cases, mostly involving pharmaceuticals or medical devices. I have also advised clients on issues regarding clinical trials, employee inventions as well as on license agreements.

My experience includes advising on several multi-jurisdictional cases defending generics manufacturers against allegations of patent infringement (i.a. involving second medical use patents in pharmaceutical disputes developing new case law), a case involving aspects of patent infringement, health fund law and procurement law regarding a generic drug, a complex of cases regarding patent infringement and validity relating to medical devices and a multi-jurisidictional case regarding the entitlement to a patent for a pharmaceutical blockbuster product and respective infringement proceedings.

As a legal trainee, I worked at the District Court in Frankfurt am Main and for international law firms, where I gained hands-on experience in IP, IT and data protection law.
