I'm a senior associate in the Intellectual Property Group at Bird & Bird's Sydney office.

I help clients to protect and enforce their IP rights by advising on a wide range of intellectual property issues including trademarks, patents, copyright, designs, breach of confidence and misleading advertising. I also regularly advise on brand management, franchising, and regulatory matters for clients in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Having previously spent several years in radio and television broadcasting, working as a travel journalist and co-founding a talent agency, I have a particular interest in safeguarding intellectual property rights in the media and entertainment sphere. I’m also passionate about using my personal experience of the sports industry to advise clients in the sports sector.

Before joining Bird & Bird I spent a number of years in one of Ireland's leading law firms, where I gained a wealth of experience in the strategic resolution of commercial disputes as well as defamation and intellectual property litigation.
