Kathrin Kruse is an experienced lawyer who advises domestic and international clients in all aspects of individual and collective employment law.
Kathrin is a member of our International Employment Practice Group based in Dusseldorf.
She provides legal advice related to day-to-day HR questions. Her field of expertise covers the drafting of employment contracts and the right of termination. In addition, she regularly advises on collective employment law issues, in particular collective bargaining agreements and dealings with works councils.
Kathrin studied law at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. Afterwards she wrote her doctorate thesis on European Labour and Social Security Law, which led her to work at the European Institute of Social Security in Leuven, Belgium for a few months.
Kathrin completed her legal training in Gera, Germany. During this time she worked for a law firm which specialsied in employmewnt law, and for us as a trainee in our Employment Group.
Kathrin war admitted to the German Bar in January 2016. She is currently working to become a certified specalist in employment law (Fachanwältin für Arbeitsrecht).
