Katarzyna is a counsel and Head of the Commercial practice in Warsaw.
Katarzyna has been advising clients since 2007. She specialises in commercial matters, drafting and negotiating contracts and negotiation strategies, as well as advising on implementing and terminating agreements. She has extensive experience in advising State-owned companies. She also advises on senior management and corporate governance issues. She supports clients in developing and implementing internal regulations, group standards or business needs.
Katarzyna was previously part of our Banking and Finance practice, advising financial institutions on corporate and regulatory matters, preparing product offers, including implementing new products and business lines, particularly e-banking and m-payments.
She has experience in financial market transactions, such as credit financing, issuing debt securities, derivatives and debt restructuring.
She also provides ongoing corporate assistance, and participates in many complex, multi-phase transactions of public and private companies.
Katarzyna has significant experience in due diligence of companies and their assets, in particular corporate due diligence within the scope of corporate governance, risk management, commercial issues, compliance and information management.
She also supports insurance companies and intermediaries, with an emphasis on audits of product documentation and agency agreements. She assists companies in negotiating Directors & Officers insurance contracts, and managers in negotiating civil liability insurance contracts.
Katarzyna has conducted numerous training courses, including those related to financial institutions' operations, remuneration policies (including implementation of the CRD, the UCITS V, the AIFMD), as well as compliance and corporate governance.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
She works in Polish and English.
