Katarzyna Otwinowska specialises in regulatory matters, in particular for State-owned companies
Katarzyna is counsel and co-head of the Polish Energy & Utilities group, based in Warsaw.
Katarzyna has been advising clients since 2007 and specialises in advising companies from the State-owned (including advice regarding the Public Sector Salary Cap Act and the Polish Anti-Corruption Act) and the energy sectors.
She is experienced in creating corporate governance policies and audit methodologies for capital groups. She supports clients in matters related to top management and corporate governance.
Having worked in our Banking & Finance practice, Katarzyna has assisted numerous institutions from the financial sector on the full range of corporate compliance, governance and regulatory matters, as well as preparing new product offers, including implementing new products and business lines, in particular eBanking and mobile payments products. Katarzyna has also advised on financial market transactions, in particular debt security, credit financing and derivatives.
She provides ongoing corporate assistance, and advises on mergers & acquisitions. She has extensive experience in providing ongoing legal support to investment funds and investment fund management companies.
Katarzyna conducts trainings regarding financial institutions activity in Poland, compliance and corporate governance.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
She works in Polish and English.
