As an associate in Bird & Bird's Intellectual Property group in Stockholm, I focus on IP with particular expertise in trade mark law, domain names, marketing law and copyright as part of our Media, Entertainment & Sport and Retail & Consumer sector groups.
I joined Bird and Bird's Intellectual Property group in 2013 as a trainee. I came in contact with Bird & Bird through an LLM course on intellectual property, and after meeting some of the partners and associates I felt strongly that Bird & Bird would be the right place for me to become the intellectual property lawyer I wanted to be.
Today I am an associate and during my years I have built-up substantial experience in various fields of intellectual property. I provide legal advice to national and international clients in numerous matters, including licensing issues, opposition proceedings, infringement matters, transactions, contract drafting and trade mark portfolio management. Many of the matters that I handle are cross-border matters, and I work closely with my international colleagues on a daily basis.
Besides intellectual property, I also advise on other matters, such as consumer law, marketing law and gambling related questions. I have also had the opportunity to be seconded to one of Sweden's leading media corporations for ten months where I was focusing on data protection matters (GDPR).
As a lawyer, I believe in being attentive and understanding towards my client's business needs. My role is to help facilitate my clients and provide them with day-to-day support in the challenges and opportunities they face whether big or small.
