I assist our Finnish and international clients on all areas of employment and labour law, such as drafting and negotiating employment and executive level agreements and their terminations; planning and executing co-operation procedures (including negotiations with the employee representatives); drafting and implementing (global) employment related policies; advising employers on wide range of employment or HR-related issues including inter alia, employer's obligations, collective bargaining agreements, posted workers and residence permits for employees or entrepreneurs, international assignments, data privacy issues related to working life as well as questions related to outsourcing, reorganisation and redundancies. I also frequently perform legal due diligence work and support our clients in various employment related questions regarding the integration processes in connection with M&A assignments. Additionally, I give regularly tailored trainings on employment topics of all kinds.My career at Bird & Bird includes a six-month full-time secondment as an HR legal counsel for a major telecoms company and Networks Oy, and a seven-month part-time secondment as an HR legal counsel for the leading Nordic food company HKScan Oyj.Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked with versatile employment law assignments in other major law firms in Finland. In addition to attorney offices and representing employers, I have also gained work experience from an employee association which has given me an in-depth understanding of the challenges in employment relationships also from the employee's perspective. I am a member of the Finnish Bar Association, the Finnish labour law association and the European Employment Lawyers' Association (EELA).
