As a French and European patent attorney, with a Master's in Engineering, I use my knowledge to advise clients on their patent issues.

Throughout my career I have used technical skills learnt in my masters and legal skills in my litigation studies to advise multiple clients. Having discovered law during my training in one of the most prestigious French engineering schools, I naturally turned to the profession of patent engineer, which allowed me to enjoy both my technical background and my appetence for the legal.

I have over nine years' experience at one of the best patent attorney firms in France and Europe, where I assisted the inventors and their right holders in the protection of their inventions by drafting patents, obtaining grants from several patent offices around the world, and defending them during virulent opposition proceedings. This experience also gave me the opportunity to work on temporary assignments as an in-house patent attorney several times for some of the leading industrial players, which gave me a new perspective of my job.

I currently work in Bird & Bird's Paris office, where I use my enthusiasm to support on litigation and in negotiations to help my clients defend their interests, taking advantage of previous experience in litigation procedures to identify weaknesses of opposing parties. Also, thanks to Bird & Bird's strong international network, I coordinate with colleagues from other European offices to optimise my clients' strategy in pan-European cases.
