Jochen assists national and international clients from all sectors and industries in the resolution of IP disputes, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation.
Jochen is an associate in the IP sector group of our Dusseldorf office. His practice focuses on national and cross-border patent litigation (at trial and appellate level) in various fields of technology, including predominantly mechanical engineering, automotive, power electronics and optical devices. He has also been involved in infringement proceedings concerning German utility models.
Jochen holds an LL.M. degree from McGill School of Law (Canada), two certificates in int’l and comparative law from the University of San Diego and two German "State Examinations in Law" (Baden-Wuerttemberg and Berlin). Over the course of his academic career, Jochen also spent a year at Swansea University School of Law (UK).
Prior to joining us in 2015, Jochen worked for several IP law firms in Berlin.
