About Me

I am a Senior Associate in our Commercial and Regulatory & Administrative Groups in The Hague. I am involved in regulatory and contractual matters, often concerning cases that require not only legal but also economic expertise.

In my regulatory practice, I represent telecom, IT and postal operators in regulatory and civil disputes, for example those resulting from NRA (market analysis) decisions, enforcement actions and national and international laws and regulations. I also advise on other regulatory matters such as regulatory compliance, access to networks, net neutrality and the European Communications Code.

The agreements I draft and negotiate concern both the regulated sector, like access or (frequency) licensing agreements, and purely commercial dealings. I specialise in agreements with a technology component and am experienced in assisting clients with complex outsourcings, large IT procurement projects and R&D initiatives.

Additionally, I am regularly involved in interdisciplinary projects (economic and law) such as contributing to economic papers, conducting (EC commissioned) studies and liaising with economic advisors.

My prior work experience, not only at a top-tier Amsterdam based law firm but also as a senior consultant in the private and public sectors, and MBA degree ensure that I have a full understanding of what drives regulators as well as my clients' day to day business operations.
