Since beginning to practise in 2013, I have developed extensive experience in assisting individual and corporate clients, as well as banks, by providing ongoing legal assistance. Today I specialise in regulations pertaining to financial institutions. I currently advise on the implementation of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) and Anti Money Laundering regulations (AML) as well as on other EU directives and regulations. I assist in conducting due diligence and preparing legal opinions and memorandums related to banking law, including regulatory issues, civil and commercial law. I also participate in investment financing and refinancing projects and debt-issuance transactions. My areas of expertise include drafting and negotiating financial documentation. I have experience in litigation proceedings as well, particularly in civil and commercial law. Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in well-known law firms in Poland, and also completed an apprenticeship in the Polish Constitutional Court.
