Joanna Niewiadomska specialises in civil and banking law, as well as legal issues related to financing transactions.
She is a Junior Associate in the Banking & Finance team in Bird & Bird's Warsaw office.
Joanna has been advising clients since 2013. She specialises in financing transactions, civil and banking law, in particular regulatory legal issues.
She has extensive experience in assisting both individual and corporate clients, as well as banks, where she provides on-going legal assistance. Joanna participates in projects related to investment financing and refinancing, debt-issuance transactions and assists clients with obtaining financing.
Her areas of expertise include drafting and negotiating financial documentation. She assists clients in preparing legal opinions and memorandums related to banking law (including regulatory issues), commercial law and conducts due diligence. She also has experience in litigation proceedings, particularly in the areas of civil, commercial and criminal law.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, she gained professional experience working in well-known law firms in Poland. Joanna also completed an apprenticeship in the Polish Constitutional Court.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She is currently completing her traineeship in the Warsaw Bar Association.
