Here at Bird & Bird, I am an associate in the M&A/Corporate Group, based in France. I regularly advise on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, leveraged buyouts and corporate matters.

After training here at Bird & Bird for six months, I qualified into the French M&A/Corporate Group in 2017. As an associate, my practice spans a number of the firm's key sectors, such as life sciences and healthcare, sport, as well as technology and communications.

I work both in English and in French, advising purchasers or sellers in mergers and acquisitions transactions, whether local or international. I also assist investment funds and start-up companies in private equity and venture capital transactions, including the undertaking of national or international due diligence processes and the drafting of related contractual and corporate documents.

Furthermore, I advise and assist French companies on various corporate matters, from incorporation and ordinary corporate operations to the sale of their business, including the restructuring of the detention of their share capital, or any other corporate law matters.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I was a trainee in various international and local law firms in France. This large range of experience, as well as the variety of clients, has allowed me to build up a diverse pool of technical knowledge and practical experience from which to draw upon.

  • I have participated in national acquisitions and fundraisings involving French leading organisations in the life sciences and healthcare field, such as Fitnessea, an important player in the French fitness industry, and Climb Up group, a French leader in the climbing business.
  • I also advised the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation, a french administrative authority, in its participation in a French cooperative company helping the elderly to keep autonomy while aging.
  • I was also involved in international fundraisings such as Altices', and in national fundraising for startups such as Elistair, specialised in the drones industry.
