Overview

Jane specialises in intellectual property litigation and advice, with a particular focus on patent litigation.

Jane is a partner in our Intellectual Property Practice, based in London. She is also a subject expert for our Communications Equipment Providers industry initiative.

Jane's practice is litigation focused and she has run many cases through to trial in the High Court and Court of Appeal, has handled IP based arbitrations and has appeared personally on a couple of occasions in the European Court of Justice on behalf of clients.

Jane has been called a leader in her field by Legal 500 UK, and regularly advises clients on cross-border cases, liaising with lawyers in other jurisdictions to plan a litigation or defensive strategy for international clients.

Jane was presented with the 2013 Legal Business TMT Team of the Year award for her team’s work on one of the longest and largest patent disputes in Europe.  She also won The Lawyer Magazine's inaugural Client Partner of the Year in 2013. Our IP team recently received Managing Intellectual Property's Firm of the Decade award.

One client commented: “Jane is a tactically brilliant relationship partner, who manages our litigation overall and the UK in particular”.

She is a member of the UK Council of AIPPI and a past-President of the Intellectual Property Constituency of ICANN.
