I'm an associate in our International Commercial Group in London, a commercial lawyer with experience in transactional and regulatory matters, particularly in the media, entertainment and sport sector.

I advise clients on a range of matters in the sector, with a particular focus on businesses impacted by technology or those commercialising intellectual property assets.

I act for and against rights holders licensing content internationally, negotiate the terms and conditions of service for technology rich platforms and advise on a range of broadcast regulatory matters. In recent years, I've also gained valuable experience acting on the sale of stakes in a football club and an international sports channel.

Whether advising on a specific commercial transaction or a larger transformational project, I work closely with clients to understand their businesses and provide commercial legal advice to meet their objectives.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in the regulatory and competition team at a major television platform, broadcaster and distributor in the UK, in the legal team at a commercial television network in Australia and in the central legal function at a global PR, advertising and marketing group. While at Bird & Bird, I've also spent time on secondment at a company specialising in energy investment. As a result of this varied experience, I've learned the value of clients receiving practical, commercial legal advice and developed a working understanding of a range of businesses in the media, entertainment and sports sector.
