I'm an associate in our office in The Hague. I get involved in matters relating to regulatory practices, competition, environmental and media law. I enjoy being a member of our Dutch corporate social responsibility committee.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I was a legal counsel at the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets where I worked on cases concerning competition law, such as cartels and abuse of dominance.

In my work I find it really important to understand the needs of our clients in order to provide relevant legal advice from the clients' perspective. I focus on EU and Dutch competition law and regulation on behalf of our clients in the energy, communications, media and technology sector.

One of my other roles in the firm is to develop our corporate social responsibility activities, a key focus for Bird & Bird.

I'm a member of the Dutch Competition Law Association and the Dutch Human Rights Law Association.
