Heather has experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters, particularly in the fields of patent litigation and brand enforcement.
Heather is an associate in our Intellectual Property Group based in London.
She has been involved in a broad range of intellectual property matters in relation to patents, designs, trade marks, copyright and brand management.
Her litigation experience has involved acting for an international hydrocarbon exploration firm in the High Court and for a world leading telecoms company. She also has experience in design and trade mark infringement advice for clients in the retail and consumer sectors and co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional IP enforcement projects with Customs.
In 2016 and 2018 she was seconded to a large retail bank where she gained experience of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters in the financial sector including managing the brand protection programme.
She has contributed to a number of legal publications including producing content for the British Copyright Council and for design-focused news hub DesignWrites.
Heather graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012 with an undergraduate masters degree in Physics and Philosophy before joining us as a trainee in 2015 and qualifying in 2017.
