As an associate in Bird & Bird's Intellectual Property Group in London, I've helped advise on a range of IP matters from patents, designs, trade marks and copyright to brand management and enforcement.

In litigation, I have acted for an international energy exploration firm in the High Court, a world leading telecoms company and a multinational brewery. I've also provided design and trade mark infringement advice for clients in the retail and consumer sectors, and coordinated multi-jurisdictional IP enforcement projects with customs.

From a transactional perspective I have provided supply and development agreements to a global medical products and technologies company and have supported clients with IP due dilligence on company mergers and acquisitions.

In the sports and media sector I have advised on internal copyright clearance procedures for blog content and assisted with a Norwich Parmacal information request for a large sports organisation.

On secondment to a large retail bank, I gained practical experience of IP matters in financial services including managing the bank's brand protection programme.

Since joining Bird & Bird, I have helped to provide training and guides on IP for our clients and I've written for a number of legal publications including our own design industry news hub DesignWrites and content for the British Copyright Council.
