Gloria has practical experience in commercial dispute resolution and arbitration work.
Gloria is an Associate in Hong Kong specialising in commercial litigation and arbitration and is a member of the Firm's International Trade Secrets team. She qualified as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 2009.
She has advised and represented a broad range of international, public body and PRC clients on a wide range of commercial dispute and telecommunications matters, including claims involving mis-selling of financial products/services both in the financial sector and in the insurance industry, joint-venture business and failed property transaction disputes, breach of fiduciary duties, misappropriation of assets and exercise of statutory/regulatory duties and powers. She also advises and represents professional indemnity insurers, legal professionals and accountants in a broad range of professional negligence disputes.
Gloria successfully vacated a mandatory injunction for delivery-up of various statutory book and records of Hong Kong companies in a commercial dispute which concerns an alleged event of default arising out of various loan notes issued by PRC parties to an overseas private equity consortium.
Gloria is fluent and literate in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
