Based in our London office, I am an experienced partner with over 15 years of experience leading and managing complex high-value litigation and international arbitration to achieve the best results for my clients.

I represent clients in complex litigation, and commercial and investment treaty arbitrations under various rules (including ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SIAC, UNCITRAL and WIPO). My matters span a wide variety of national laws, including English, US, Canadian, European, African and Chinese laws.

I have particular experience with emerging markets, including Africa, Eastern/Central Europe, Russia, China and Southeast Asia, and South America.

My broad experience includes disputes relating to joint venture and shareholder agreements, M&As, telecommunications, oil/gas and renewable energy, natural resources and mining, aviation, financial services, sports, technology and pharmaceuticals.

In addition to my counsel work, I regularly sit as arbitrator. I am on the LCIA's Database of Arbitrators and WIPO's List of Arbitrators.

My practice is consistently recommended by clients and peers. I am recognised in the legal directories as a 'leading individual' and a 'thought leader' in international arbitration, and 'highly rated' as an 'excellent strategist', a 'highly effective advocate' and a 'rising star' (Legal 500) (GAR100) (Who's Who Legal: Arbitration).

I speak regularly at conferences and seminars, and am a member of various arbitration bodies including the LCIA, ICC, IBA and CIArb.

Previously, I was in a magic circle firm and practised for a number of years as a barrister at Matrix Chambers, London.
