As an associate in our Corporate Group and a member of our tech & comms team in The Hague, I specialise in cross-border M&A and corporate law, with a clear mission to develop our clients' businesses.

Here at Bird & Bird, I enjoy working with larger cross-border clients as well as with tech start ups, each at the forefront of various sectors such as telecommunications, life sciences and IT.

As many of the transactions I assist on involve multiple jurisdictions, I collaborate on a daily basis with the lawyers in our other offices around the world to offer our clients seamless cross-jurisdictional advice and a one-stop-shop approach covering all legal aspects of complex cross-border transactions. I also work closely with my international HR and IP colleagues, providing expertise in due diligence and risk assessment exercises, as well as experience in transitional services agreements and technology separation arrangements in support of the implementation of corporate deals.

Besides this, I coordinate our Dutch start up team, where I advise tomorrow's leading companies on setting up a business in the Netherlands and various other legal matters.

During my studies, I undertook several internships in the legal field and in international relations, including at the United Nations in New York.
