I am an associate in our Dispute Resolution Group in Helsinki.

I advise my clients in litigation and criminal proceedings and in particular on matters relating to tort law.

I graduated from the University of Lapland. During my studies I specialised in procedural law and business law. In addition, I studied international business law and alternative dispute resolution methods at the University of Valencia in Spain.

Before my graduation, I worked as a trainee here at Bird & Bird and with another major law firm in Finland. I have also worked as a trainee in the Court of Appeal and the Ministry of the Interior, where my duties included, among others, oversight of legality and legislative drafting tasks.

For me working accurately and effectivelly are things that form the basis for excellent client service. I always make sure that I have a thorough understanding of the assignments I am dealing with.

I wanted to become a lawyer because I considered it a diverse job. As a lawyer I can develop my expertise in many different areas, such as negotiation, communication and writing skills. This role offers new challenges and I learn something new every day. I also enjoy the fact that I get to work with professionals from different fields.

Besides Finnish I speak fluent English.
