Elizabeth Greene

Associate

UK

I'm an associate in Bird & Bird's Intellectual Property department in London, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters and a particular focus on the media, entertainment, and technology sectors.

I have experience across a broad range of intellectual property matters, from large scale telecoms patent litigation to drafting commercial agreements for life sciences start-ups. I particularly enjoy advising on copyright and trade mark related issues, whether that involves working closely with the in house team on everyday brand enforcement matters, or defending a client in a business-critical copyright infringement case.

Having been fortunate enough to work with clients whose innovations are transforming their industries, I am able to advise on intellectual property concerns arising from cutting edge technology. For example, questions of ownership and exploitation surrounding the use of big data and AI. I also have a strong interest in and understanding of issues of online liability and regulation.

I edit Bird & Bird's news hub MediaWrites, which keeps me up to date with legal and policy developments across the media, entertainment and sports industries.
