Elaine Jatta, LL.M.

I am an associate in our IP team in Düsseldorf with a focus on advising domestic and international clients in patent infringement cases that overlap with unfair competition and antitrust law.

After first discovering my interest in Intellectual Property law in German law school, I focused on American IP classes during my LL.M. in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California (USC). I hereby got a chance to further sharpen my English skills and get an insight into the Anglo-American law system.

During my time as a legal clerk, I worked in the IP team of an international law firm here in Düsseldorf and gained more experience defending IP rights while I worked in the legal team of a major international tech firm.

I joined our firm in 2021.
