Edward is a junior Disputes lawyer with a commercial outlook and experience of international arbitration and High Court litigation
Edward is an associate in our Dispute Resolution department, based in London.
He advises clients on a range of domestic and international corporate and commercial disputes and has particular experience in disputes relating to the financial services sector and the technology and communications sector.
Since qualifying as a solicitor in September 2015, Edward has assisted with an international arbitration under ICC Rules, as well as a procurement dispute in the Technology and Construction Court and a financial services dispute in the High Court (Financial List).
As a trainee, Edward gained a broad experience of the firm's non-contentious (Banking and Corporate) and contentious (Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property) practice areas. Highlights of the contentious work in which he was involved included an international arbitration under ICC Rules, two High Court disputes (Chancery Division) and an application for permission to appeal to the UK Supreme Court.
Before joining us in 2013, Edward worked in-house for a number of market-leading organisations, including News UK.
Edward obtained an MA in History and Politics from the University of Edinburgh before completing his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London.
