As Counsel in our Corporate and M&A practice here in Budapest, I have 11 years' experience in M&A, private equity and corporate matters.

Over the years, I have represented numerous Hungarian and international clients in corporate, commercial and real estate transactions from sectors including Finance, Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Media, Entertainment and Real Estate and Construction.

I have advised clients on complex domestic and cross-border M&A and joint ventures, competitive auction bidding processes and company reorganisation and restructuring procedures, and have also been involved in numerous real estate transactions. Facing challenging transactions and working with business decision-makers from various sectors early on in my career allowed me to appreciate clients' focus on efficiency, flexibility and business mindedness.

Before joining the team at Bird & Bird, I worked at other major international law firms, where I focused on M&A and corporate law. In addition to my native Hungarian, I am fluent in English, French and Russian.

• Advising on the sale of General Electric's lighting business to the management of GE Hungary, representing the seller, as well as on various other divestments.
• Advising OTP Bank on various acquisitions in the region (including in Serbia, Romania and Slovenia).
• Advised Providence Equity Partners in its investment in Sziget Cultural Management, one of the largest festival organizers in the Central Eastern European region, including the Sziget Festival, Balaton Sound, Telekom VOLT Festival, Gourmet Festival and Gyerek Sziget (Children's Sziget).
• Advised CEE Stock Exchange Group AG in the sale of the Budapest Stock Exchange to the National Bank of Hungary.
• Advising MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Plc. in connection with its management's share option programme.
• Represented TDF SAS of France, a portfolio company of Texas Pacific Group, in the EUR 180 million sale of its Hungarian subsidiary, Antenna Hungária Zrt., a terrestrial broadcasting, telecommunications, new media and network and satellite services company.
