I am a partner in competition law. I specialize in transactions, commercial disputes, IP, IT and compliance. My sector focus is on the automotive supply industry, tech & comms, consumer electronics and on regulated industries. I strive to add value to my client's businesses by providing legal advice that can be used to achieve measurable business objectives.
Having worked In-house as a Compliance Officer for a German technology powerhouse, I am conscious of the challenges that arise from managing your daily business, budgets and, last but not least, external counsel. I try to keep my language plain, no matter how complex the case – providing advice that can be used back-to-back towards your internal client at predictable costs. This includes transactional work (merger control; FDI) commercial and IP disputes and litigation, R&D, cooperation and license agreements, (online) distribution, cartel damages claims, investigations (internal/external) and compliance.Apart from private practice, I have an engagement as external compliance advisor to a major US-based industry association which helps me to stay on top of latest developments mainly in the mobility sector. I publish regularly and organize various trainings and events, including on-site. I also actively promote the firm's legal tech offering, including e.g., a modular risk & compliance scanner, as well as a "red-button" dawn raid alarm system and app (in cooperation with safeReach).
Holding a doctorate in law from the university of Münster and an intermediate diploma in competition economics from the university of Bayreuth, I am a member of Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht, the association of German competition lawyers.

- Advising Fuyao Glass Industry Co., Ltd. on its acquisition of SAM Automotive Group.
- Assisting a manufacturer of branded goods in an investigation by the German competition authority regarding online sales restrictions.
- Representing Huawei before the Court of Justice of the EU in its landmark Huawei/ZTE decision.
- Developing a state-of-the art selective distribution system for an international luxury brand.
- Advising the automotive seating business of Johnson Controls on the global merger filings for the acquisition of Keiper Recaro et al.
- Compliance Officer at a major German industrial company, thyssenkrupp.
