About Me

Working as a partner in our Frankfurt team, I am a litigation lawyer in our Dispute Resolution Practice Group and Automotive Sector Group, where I provide specialist advice in litigation and arbitration proceedings focusing on automotive suppliers and financial institutions. I am also a member of our Global Investigations and Compliance Group, specialising in multi-jurisdictional internal investigations.

Drawing on my long experience, I advise German corporations and multinationals – including financial institutions and automotive suppliers – on all matters of civil law, and represent them in various German courts.

I have specialised in high-volume product recall litigation and defend Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers on a regular basis against recourse claims and advise clients on issues of (cross-border) product liability.

Furthermore, I represent financial institutions in disputes related to financial products (i.e. derivatives and bonds).

I am also familiar with other European legal systems and have extensive experience in internal investigations, compliance audits and mass claim actions.

I give regular presentations and advise on automotive liability issues, including the liability risks of disruptive technologies such as autonomous and connected driving and regularly advise clients on liability issues in connection with the transfer of their business model. I have also authored several publications on seizure protection of documents in internal investigations – known as 'Legal Privilege' – as well as on money laundering and automotive industry standards.

Before joining our firm in 2017, I worked for another leading international law firm in Frankfurt, London and Zurich.
