As an experienced patent litigator, Christopher advises an international range of clients, many of them from the US, with a focus on life sciences and telecommunications technology.
Christopher is a Partner in our Munich office. He represents clients in German and pan-European patent infringement cases as well as nullity and opposition proceedings before the Federal Patent Court and the European Patent Office. Another field of expertise is trade secrets and know-how protection, where he assists clients in developing and enforcing know-how protection measures and policies and conducting trade secret litigation. Christopher also has great expertise in the field of transactional and contractual IP and is regularly involved in drafting and negotiating of patent and know-how licensing contracts and R&D agreements.
Christopher graduated from Munich University and spent his clerkship at the Court of Appeals Hamburg. He qualified as German solicitor (Rechtsanwalt) in 2007. Prior to joining us in 2011, he worked for four years as an IP attorney for an international law firm with a focus on technology transfer and patent licensing transactions.
Christopher is an active member of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) and the German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright law (GRUR).
He is fluent in English, Italian and German.
