I'm an associate in our Intellectual Property Group in London, where my PhD in developmental neuroscience and experience as a post-doctoral research scientist gives me expert insight into both the life sciences and biotech sectors. In recent years I've been involved in contentious, transactional and regulatory IP matters in patents, trade marks, passing off and copyright.

My practice focuses primarily on patent litigation in the life sciences and biotech sectors, where I have acted for international pharmaceutical companies in multi-jurisdictional patent validity and infringement disputes at the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

With almost 30 offices worldwide, and the firm's strong 'one firm' international approach, we are superbly-placed to manage this type of 'global' litigation. As a tech-focused law firm, we have developed tools to assist the smooth running of global matters, such as secure document sharing portals for both our clients and external counsel.

I also have experience in cross-border patent portfolio management, including helping to bring IP licensing strategies to fruition. I have a developing regulatory practice in product compliance and liability, from consumer goods and food and beverage to healthcare and medicines, advising on product labelling, health and safety issues, marketing, advertising, consumer law issues, as well as brand protection. It's great to be working with clients at the cutting edge of so many sectors, helping to get products to market across the EU.
