Daniele is an experienced IP lawyer who assists his clients especially to protect their copyrights and trade secrets.
Daniele joined Bird & Bird in March 2004. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, he worked for several years at prof. Luigi Carlo Ubertazzi Law Firm in Milan.
Daniele specialises in intellectual property (in particular focusing on copyright, software, data base, apps, videogames, format, audiovisual works, movies, TV programs, songs, new media and technologies, design, advertising, image rights, trade marks, patents, plants variety, trade secret and unfair competition) acting for many of Italian and international clients (e.g. phonograms and audiovisual producers, artists, publishers, broadcasters, ISPs, start-up company). His practice extends to litigation, legal advice and drafting of agreements.
Daniele holds a Ph.D. in intellectual property with a final thesis on the copyright protection of audiovisual works and is author of several publications on intellectual property topics (copyright protection, audiovisual works, musical works, trade secret, right of publicity and advertising). Outside his studies, he has held external seminars on copyright at the Università Ca’ Foscari in Venice. He is currently a lecturer for the Università di Pavia and holds seminars and conferences around intellectual property issues. Daniele also specialises in tourism law; he has lectured for the Università di Pavia in this field for several years.
Daniele is admitted to the Milan Bar and member of AIPPI.
