Daniel's expertise is in technology procurement and regulatory outsourcing and he has a considerable amount of experience acting for a wide range of tech start-ups.
Daniel is a senior associate in the firm's Corporate Group, based in Singapore.
His key area of practice is advising on technology procurement and regulated outsourcing. In addition, he has acted for a wide range of technology and telecom companies in relation to their commercialisation activities and regulatory aspects of their business.
He has an in-depth understanding of software and intellectual property licensing matters and is able to assist in all aspects of negotiation and drafting of commercial and technical schedules.
He is also regularly involved in seed, venture capital funding rounds and exits in the start-up space, having acted for investors, funds and companies in Series A, B through to D rounds of funding.
On the commercialisation front, he has advised start-ups on a wide variety of go-to-market activities, including insured cash sweep providers, regulated early stage investment funds and payment services providers.
Prior to joining us, Daniel practised in leading law firms in Singapore and Australia and is admitted to practice in both the Supreme Courts of Singapore and Victoria, Australia.
Daniel graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in finance.
