I am a technology lawyer with ten years' experience advising technology clients on a wide range of multi-jurisdictional procurement and regulated outsourcing matters.

I have been involved in technology matters across a number of industries such as e-commerce, hospitality, financial services, life sciences, manufacturing and telecommunications, both in practice in Singapore and Australia. The deals that I am involved in often include multi-jurisdictional procurement, licensing or outsourcing aspects that have challenging regulatory requirements. These jurisdictions span the Asia Pacific region and more recently included Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, India and Myanmar.

I also have extensive commercial law experience across the entire corporate funding lifecycle. I have acted for numerous start-ups across the full range of fundraising transactions encompassing debt and equity, from seed funding to venture capital rounds and exits in the start-up space.

A major part of my practice involves data protection and privacy across the region. I have advised extensively on a range of international data compliance projects for MNCs headquartered in the APAC region, including international data transfers, local data compliance and General Data Protection Regulation strategies for APAC businesses that may not have a base of operations in the European Union.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I practised in leading law firms in Singapore and Australia and I am admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of Singapore and Victoria, Australia.
