Daniel has a practice focus on technology procurement and regulated outsourcing with considerable experience acting for a wide range of tech start-ups.
Daniel is a senior associate in the firm's Corporate Group, based in Singapore.
His key area of practice is advising on technology procurement and regulated outsourcing. In addition, he has acted for a wide range of technology and telecom companies in relation to their commercialisation activities and regulatory aspects of their business.
He has an intimate understanding of software and intellectual property licensing matters and is able to assist in all aspects of negotiation and drafting of commercial and technical schedules.
He also advises extensively on data protection and privacy across the region, including PDPA compliance and the management of data breaches and subject access requests.
Daniel is regularly involved in seed, venture capital rounds and exits in the start-up space, having acted for investors, funds and companies in Series A, B through to D rounds of funding.
Prior to joining us, Daniel practised in leading law firms in Singapore and Australia and is admitted to practice in both the Supreme Courts of Singapore and Victoria, Australia.
Daniel graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in finance.
