Daniel is an associate in our Intellectual Property practice group, based in Düsseldorf.
He advises domestic and international clients from various industries and sectors on all matters of patent law, with a special focus on patent litigation.
Daniel studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and the University of Helsinki. A major field of his studies was intellectual property law.
After his First State Exam, Daniel completed the LL.M.-Programme ”International Studies in Intellectual Property Law” at the University of Dresden and the University of Exeter. During his legal clerkship he worked for several law firms in Düsseldorf with a focus on intellectual property and competition law as well as the German Embassy in Nicosia. Daniel is writing a doctoral thesis on a topic related to trademark and unfair competition law.
He was admitted to the bar in October 2013.
