Daisy is an associate in our Intellectual Property Group and a member of our International Product Design Group based in London.
Daisy has particular interest and experience in product design rights and has advised high-profile clients from a range of industries, including fashion & luxury goods, furniture & homeware, aviation and medical devices, on the best and most commercially-sensible strategies for protecting their work at a national, European and international level.
Daisy also regularly advises clients on how they can best enforce their registered and unregistered design rights.
In addition to her product design experience, Daisy has been involved in a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious, national and multi-jurisdictional, intellectual property matters, in relation to copyright, trade marks, domain names and patents. This includes freedom to operate opinions.
Before joining us Daisy spent time in-house within the media licensing & distribution legal team at one of the world's leading entertainment & media enterprises, as well as time in the sports marketing and advertising industries.
Daisy edits and regularly contributes to our DesignWrites publication and often writes on the subject of IP rights in the fashion & luxury goods sector, one that she has a particular interest in.
Daisy joined us as a trainee in 2014 after completing the law conversion course and graduating from Hertford College, University of Oxford. She qualified into our IP department in September 2016.
