Conrad's particular expertise lies in advising funders, sponsors and governments in connection with the financing, development and acquisition/disposal of energy and infrastructure projects.
Conrad is a projects partner working in our Energy & Utilities sector group, based in London.
He specialises in structuring, drafting and negotiating finance and security documents as well as commercial agreements such as construction contracts, joint venture and shareholder agreements and power purchase agreements. He also assists clients to carry out due diligence in connection with acquisition/disposal and the impact of regulation and policy on existing and planned future energy projects.
Conrad’s has experience of all of the main renewable energy technologies including wind (onshore and offshore), solar, hydro-power (utility scale and run of the river), biomass, tidal and energy storage in both well established and emerging markets. He has also advised on conventional thermal power projects and energy infrastructure as well as health, housing and transport infrastructure projects.
