I'm an associate in our Intellectual Property group in Brussels. I get involved on contentious and non-contentious matters concerning copyright, trademarks and other tech and non-tech IP-related matters, both in Belgium and on a pan-European basis.

Today, I advise our clients at Bird & Bird with respect to copyright, trademarks, domain name dispute resolutions and other tech and non-tech IP-related matters.

I particularly appreciate the substantive legal matters involved in the cases as well as the wide spectrum of different industries, such as the media and retail sector.

Regarding non-contentious IP, I have worked on a range of advisory matters relating to telecommunication and audiovisual as well as questions regarding distribution law and consumer protection.

Starting my career at Bird & Bird allows me to benefit from the extensive knowledge and experience from IP specialists, whilst exploring a diverse range of legal areas.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I gained legal experience and international exposure through a four month internship at the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the UN in New York City and by conducting a six month internship here in our Brussels IP department. This challenging and rewarding internship convinced me to participate in the WIPO Summer School on Intellectual Property before pursuing the Brussels bar in the IP sector later on.
