I am a senior associate in the Corporate Group, based in our Sydney office. I am a proactive, pragmatic and dedicated lawyer, with extensive experience advising some of the world's most recognisable brands on complex Australian and cross-border corporate transactions.

I have over 15 years’ experience advising clients on complex transactions across a broad range of sectors, including technology, communications, media and entertainment, and energy and utilities. My practice has a particular focus on international mergers and acquisitions, including share and asset purchases, demergers, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.

I have played a lead role in a number of significant M&A transactions by conducting negotiations on transaction documents, coordinating international teams for due-diligence, contract negotiation and transaction execution, and working closely with the client to ensure the successful closing of the transaction.

In addition to transactional M&A, I am sought out by clients to provide strategic advice on a broad range of corporate issues, including the requirements for conducting business in Australia, complex restructure arrangements, shareholder arrangements and corporate governance matters.

Clients appreciate my commercial and pragmatic approach, attention to detail and commitment to get deals done whilst securing great outcomes for our clients.

Having lived and worked as a lawyer in the United States and Sweden, I have a deep understanding of the needs of international clients and the key elements of successful deal execution.

Since 2015, I have been the author of Practical Law UK's annual Digital Business Global Guide for Australia. I also held the position of vice-president of the Communications & Media Law Association for five years (2014 to 2018).
