Benjamin advises national and international clients of various industries with regard to questions of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on patent law.
Benjamin is a member of our Intellectual Property Practice Group, based in our Dusseldorf office.
The main focus of his work is to advise national and international clients of various industries with regard to the legal enforcement of their patents.
Benjamin studied law at the University of Cologne. After achieving the first state examination he wrote his doctoral thesis in commercial (criminal) law dealing with the question of protection of trade secrets in context of a due diligence. In parallel, Benjamin worked temporarily for the University of Cologne and as a research assistant in an international law firm.
After finishing his doctoral thesis - which has been assessed with summa cum laude and been sponsored by the Graduate School of the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne - Benjamin entered his legal traineeship and worked at another international law firm and at Bird & Bird.
After achieving the second state examination Benjamin joined Bird & Bird Dusseldorf again in May 2016. He was admitted to the bar in June 2016. Furthermore he is member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
