Benedikt is a partner in our Frankfurt office and a member of the Dispute Resolution practice group.
He has been advising clients in international litigation and arbitration proceedings for over 20 years. Prior to joining us, Benedikt worked for renowned, intenational law firms.
Benedikt’s clients are mainly international business enterprises state-owned corporations, mid-size companies or entrepreneurs in complex, mostly crossborder disputes. His practice comprises legal disputes in the areas post-M&A, corporate law, joint ventures, construction projects, (long-term) supply contracts, distribution contracts as well as restructuring/insolvency. He has acted as counsel in ad-hoc-proceedings as well as arbitration proceedings under the auspices of leading arbitration institutions (DIS, ICC, SCC, LCIA) in many arbitration proceedings. He regularly represents foreign clients in proceedings before the state courts. Benedikt advises on distressed situations and in insolvency law. He regularly advises insolvency receivers and main creditors in the enforcement of their claims as well as in the enforcement of decisions of state courts or arbitral tribunals in Germany or abroad.
Many of Benedikt’s clients come from the automotive industry as well as the energy and utilities sector and he represents clients from Spanish-speaking countries on a regular basis.
Benedikt is a member of the board of directors of the ILEX (International Litigation Exchange) and a member of the Frankfurt Arbitration Circle as well as the DIS. In addition, he frequently gives presentations on topics related to dispute resolution.
