Ahalya has been involved in a wide range of intellectual property matters in relation to patents, trade marks, copyright and design rights.
Ahalya is an Associate in our Intellectual Property Group based in London.
Her clients work across a number of different industries, including online retail, pharmaceutical, healthcare, IT, media, and electronics. Ahalya’s recent work includes assisting on a piece of advice to a large pharmaceutical company on the design of their asthma inhaler and assisting on a piece of non-contentious work for an NHS Foundation Trust. Her High Court litigation experience has included Coward v Phaestos and Others and Generics (UK) Limited (t/a Mylan) v Yeda.
She joined us in 2010, having obtained a degree in Law from the University of Warwick in 2009.
Ahalya has contributed to various legal publications, including the Journal of the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents (CIPA) and the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) Review.
