Ashna has significant experience in regulatory and commercial law gained through working with government, the private sector, and with international organisations.
Ashna is an associate in our Commercial group based in Sydney.
She has significant experience advising clients on competition, consumer, and commercial law in both contentious and non-contentious matters across a range of sectors.
Before joining us, Ashna worked with a national firm, acting for the Australian government in a range of high profile regulatory matters. She completed secondments to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, and the Australian Securities & Investments Commission. Ashna's previous experience also includes working with private sector clients and international organisations based in the Asia-Pacific and Europe, including the United Nations.
Alongside her practice, Ashna teaches commercial law subjects to undergraduate students at the University of Technology Sydney. She is also the Moot Manager for NSW Young Lawyers' International Law Committee, organising the annual international commercial arbitration moot competition.
Ashna holds a BEc(Hons)/LLB(Hons) from the University of New South Wales Australia, and is currently completing her LLM at the University of Melbourne in Global Competition and Consumer Law.
