I am an Of Counsel at our firm, as well as head of the Technology & Communications department and co-head of the IP department in our Rome office. I am an expert in telecommunications, new communication technologies, industrial property and advertising.

I advise leading companies, both in and out of court, operating mainly in the telecommunications, information technology, automotive, airport infrastructure, food, gambling and fashion industries.

I have long-standing experience in the telecommunications sector, with particular reference to litigation on competition law and regulatory issues as well as a high level of experience in consumer protection. In the IP sector, I have extensive experience and knowledge of advertising issues (litigation and contracts), brand/web reputation and intellectual property protection.

In my work, together with my colleagues at our firm, clients appreciate our analysis of the various issues, succinct responses and value our practical approach. I enjoy building relationships with my clients and they appreciate my willingness and my collaborative approach which, combined with a high level of technicality, allows me to deliver timely legal advice.

Since joining our firm in 2012, we have built the technology & communications department, building on a professional relationship of more than 20 years with the leading technology & communications operator in Italy. I'm one of the leading experts in this sector and have contributed to building the advertising law practice.

I was a university lecturer on Contract in Communication Law and I taught an LL.M. course in IP and advertising contracts. I have written a book on advertising contracts and various publications regarding electronic communications, IP and advertising law. I've spoken at conferences concerning antitrust, IP, brand reputation and unfair commercial practices.

Before joining our firm in 2012, I held the role of co-founder and partner at a leading Italian law firm based in Rome, since 1989.

• Advising one of the most important companies in the technology & communications sector on the negotiation of the deployment of a submarine cable system between the US and Brazil, by providing advice on new partnerships, regulatory and contractual/legal issues concerning the telecommunication services.
• Advising an important international company leader in the bakery products sector on the legal issues concerning the packaging and advertising following the reformulation of the products. In particular, I advised on the opportunity to use health and nutritional claims on the reformulated products, assuring the compliance with the European Food law legislation and other rules applicable for the protection of the consumers.

• Advising one of the major technology & communications operators on litigation concerning the responsibility of the ISP for violations of intellectual property rights by third parties.
• Advising the most important company in the technology & communications sector on several proceedings before the Italian Authority of Self-Regulation on Advertising.
