Antonella De Gregori is counsel with a broad experience in Italian and European intellectual property law, representing clients in particular in the chemistry field.
She has a particular experience in patent proceedings, in particular in obtaining patents, in defending and opposing patents in opposition procedures before the European Patent Office and in nullity suits before the Italian Courts. In addition, she has a long experience in handling portfolios of patents/design, in advising clients and in opinion work about design infringement and about patent infringement in the chemistry field, mainly in the organic and pharmaceutical chemistry, but also in various other chemical fields such as the oil and polymer industry.
Antonella was admitted as an Italian Patent and Trademark Attorney in 1996 and as a European Patent Attorney in 1997. She studied chemistry at the University of Milan and obtained her Diploma in Chemistry in 1986.
After having worked as an Italian and European Patent Attorney for about 20 years at Barzanò & Zanardo, Antonella joined Bird & Bird in 2011 to assist clients in both contentious and non-contentious patent and design-related matters.
