I am a registered foreign lawyer in our Hong Kong-based Intellectual Property Group. My practice covers both contentious and non-contentious aspects of IP, with a particular focus on those concerning Life Sciences and Tech & Comms.

I have advised multinational corporations on IP litigations and corporate transactions, as well as government officials on international IP law. I graduated from the University of Oxford with a master's degree in biochemistry and retain a strong interest in the life sciences sector. While at university, my research interest was on genetics and I interned at a personal genomics start-up. My science background gives me a better understanding of complex technologies and helps me deliver effective legal advice tailored to the technical intricacies and commercial needs of my clients.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird in Hong Kong, I trained and worked at a Magic Circle law firm in London. I also spent time on in-house secondment at BlackRock's London headquarters, where I developed a deeper appreciation of the financial rationale behind some of the leading tech transactions.

I also advise on regulatory matters relating to life sciences and technology, commercial contracts and data protection laws.

I am fluent in English and Mandarin.
