Anna advises clients in the field of intellectual property law, in particular in the areas of life sciences and medical devices.
Anna is a patent attorney in our Intellectual Property practice group based in Munich.
Her technical expertise lies in the fields of biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, genetics, pharmacy and microbiology. Additionally, she advises clients with regards to medical devices.
Within the framework of patent and utility model law, Anna specialises in adversarial proceedings, in addition to patent prosecutions. She advises clients in obtaining patents, defending and attacking patents in oppositions and in nullity actions.
Prior to joining us in 2016, she completed her patent attorney training at a law firm in Munich, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court.
Anna studied biochemistry at the Eberhard Karls University, Tübingen graduating in 2008. From 2008 to 2012 she did her Ph.D. at Imperial College London on a topic in the biochemistry field.
She speaks German and English.
