Andrzej Stelmachowski

I am an Associate in the Intellectual Property team in Warsaw.

I have been advising clients since 2015, and I specialise in intellectual property law, proceedings involving combating unfair competition, and disputes over internet domains.

My professional experience includes comprehensive legal advice for Polish and foreign companies, including from the pharmaceutical, automotive, manufacturing and e-commerce sectors. I have participated in many complex litigation proceedings regarding infringements of patents and trademarks, as well as for the invalidation of industrial property rights. I have acted in cases related to the copying of product packaging, unfair advertising, and proceedings related to counterfeit products. I have also conducted proceedings before the Court of Internet Domains at the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT).

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience at renowned international and Polish law and patent offices, specialising in the protection of intellectual property.
