Amy's client secondments have given her valuable commercial insight.
Amy is counsel in our Competition group based in Sydney.
She provides extensive advice to our communications, technology and food and beverage clients in relation to competition and consumer law, intellectual property law and corporate and commercial law generally.
Amy has undertaken secondments to some of our key communications clients, including Vodafone Hutchison Australia, where she provided advice to the marketing and communications divisions.
She has particular expertise in the Australian regulatory system governing food and therapeutic goods and regularly advises clients on the application of the Therapeutic Goods Act to various food and health-related products.
Amy’s expertise also includes all aspects of franchising law, including compliance with the Franchising Code of Conduct and preparation of franchise agreements and related disclosure documentation.
Prior to joining us, Amy worked at a number of Australia’s leading law firms, with a particular focus on advising on intellectual property rights and issues arising in relation to advertising and marketing. During that time, Amy undertook secondments to Lion Nathan Australia and to Microsoft.
