Amalie is an associate in our Data Protection Practice Group based in Denmark.
Amalie has thorough knowledge of the new data protection regulation ("GDPR") and advises public and private companies in connection with the changes the new regulation will entail. Additionally, Amalie has in-depth experience with compliance projects under the GDPR, when it comes to both large and small companies and public authorities.
Her experience also includes counselling and drafting of data protection terms and conditions, policies and data processor agreements. She also advises clients on the rights of registrants, surveillance of employees and whistleblower schemes.
Amalie is the author of several articles on the GDPR and co-author of the first Danish book on the GDPR. She also advises on the sale and acquisition of real estate, including as part of a business transfer.
Amalie holds a LL.M. degree from King's College London, where she specialised in data protection law and acquired thorough knowledge of the EU law in this area.
Amalie joined us in 2015, having previously worked at Kromann Reumert. She graduated with a law degree from Copenhagen University in 2012. Amalie speaks Danish and English.
