Ali is well-versed in pan-African public-private projects and advises sponsors and public entities.
Ali is an associate in our Regulatory & Administrative (Public) department and Africa group, and is based in the Paris office.
He focuses on representing sponsors, financial institutions and public agencies in connection with complex public-private projects, whether brownfield or greenfield, in the transport (airport and road), mining, energy and natural resources sectors. He is also involved in public procurement and in the drafting of laws and regulations.
His multidisciplinary approach, along with his knowledge of the African continent, have enabled him to develop an expertise in OHADA business law and in providing legal advice for international operations in close cooperation with our network of local partners.
Prior to joining us, Ali accumulated several years of experience including in cost efficiency consulting and at a leading corporate governance firm.
Ali undertook his training in France and holds a Master’s degree from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (SciencesPo), a Master’s degree in Business law (Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas) and a Master’s degree in Economic sciences (IAE).
He is fluent in French, English, Italian and Levantine Arabic.
