With an interest in the Retail & Consumer sector and experience of trade mark and design law, Adeena helps clients establish, maintain and enforce their brands
Adeena is an associate in our Brand Management team within the Intellectual Property Group based in London.
She has experience advising on the various stages within the lifecycle of a brand, including clearance searches, applications for trade mark registration, maintenance of registrations and enforcement of marks in UK and European proceedings. Adeena has also worked on international design registrations. Adeena's interest in the Retail & Consumer sector means she has the industry knowledge to provide clients with commercial and strategic brand advice.
During her training contract, Adeena spent six months working with one of our retail clients, where she supported the general legal team on Commercial, Corporate and Employment matters. She has experience drafting complex trading agreements, reviewing consumer engagement materials, and analysing product packaging and labelling in line with UK and European regulation requirements.
Adeena studied Law with French Law and Language at the University of Leicester, where she spent a year studying at the Université de Strasbourg and working as a freelance journalist at the European Parliament. Before joining the firm as a trainee, Adeena worked in our Knowledge & Learning team, developing online client service tools and supporting our legal training programmes.
Adeena joined the firm in 2014 and qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2018.
