I work as an associate in our Competition and EU Law group in Helsinki where I advise our domestic and international clients on competition law and public procurement related matters.

My work spans all areas of competition law, from antitrust and merger control to State Aid. I also advise our clients on EU law related regulatory and compliance issues, as well as on EU proceedings.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird in 2020, I gained extensive work experience at several leading Finnish law firms specialised in competition and public procurement. In addition, I have also worked at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, and at a legal department of a global engineering and consulting company. In other words, I have gained valuable experience from all sides of the table which widens my perspective and helps me to provide the most efficient advice to our clients and precise answers to their questions.

In addition to my degree from University of Helsinki, I have an LL.M. degree in European Business Law from Lund University. I have also studied in Tallinn, where I was one of the founding members of Tallinn Law School students' association in 2013. During my studies abroad I worked with people from different cultures. Due to my international background, Bird & Bird with its 29 offices all around the world is a great place for me to harness my expertise to clients.
