Bird & Bird LLP secured two recognitions at the 2017 Managing Partners' Forum (MPF) Awards, held at the Marriot Hotel in London last night. The awards recognise management excellence from teams across the spectrum of professional services, including accountancy, real estate, consultancy and law firms.
The firm won first prize in the Most Innovative Client Service category for its PA Client Service Training Programme, with the award collected by Louise Field (Head of Client Service & Insight) and Nancy Elliot (Executive Assistant). This ground-breaking initiative enables PAs to expand on their traditional role through training and coaching, empowering them to support sophisticated client service, and develop stronger client relationships.
Bird & Bird also placed second in the Most Enviable Workplace category for the design and build of its new London office at 12 New Fetter Lane.
The firm was also shortlisted for Best Thought Leadership and Best Programme for Leadership Development.
Nick Perry, Head of Bird & Bird's London office says: "We are delighted with this recognition. The success of the PA Client Service Training Programme is thanks to the collaborative efforts of a team spanning many parts of the firm, resulting in a more sophisticated and proactive level of client service. It is just one of many examples of a willingness to experiment, producing results which can be used to improve our overall client offering. Congratulations and thanks to the whole team."
